The British Independent FIlm Awards 2011/2012

The 14th Annual British Independent Film Awards took place Sunday 4 December 2011 at Old Billingsgate in Central London.

The Violent drama Tyrannosaur was the biggest winner of the night collecting awards in the categories of Best Film, Best Debut Director (Paddy Considine), and Best Actress(Olivia Colman).

Other winners included Senna for Best Documentary, Lynne Ramsay for Best Director (We Need to Talk about Kevin), Michael Fassbender for Best Actor (Shame), and Richard Ayoade for Best Screenplay (Submarine).
